On Clark Creek, just upstream from the Buffalo River and AR-43 at Lost Valley, are two waterfalls and a cave that you'll really enjoy.  At the end of Lost Valley Hiking Trail is Eden Falls Cave. Clark Creek comes out of a cave at Eden Falls, then flows into the ground and comes out of another cave shortly thereafter (Lost Falls). This 200 foot long cave terminates in a stately underground room featuring the gushing, 35-foot waterfall. It's like something out of a storybook but very real.
   Further downstream, the creek actually flows into a fissure and basically disappears. There is a creek bed which continues on from the fissure, but there is much less water in it than what was flowing down into the fissure. You can even hear the water falling into a deep hole, but can't see it, as the water flow encompasses the entire crack. Very cool to see.

Harrison, which is at the junctions of US-62, US-65 and US-412 may be more convenient for folks coming in from the north (e.g., Branson, MO). Harrison also has several hotels frequently offering discounts.

Russellville is also good place to spend the night for folks traveling on I-40. There is an 'Americas Best Value Inn and Suites' at 204 Lake Front Drive. From Main Street, follow AR-7 north toward I-40, past the College, to the last traffic light before the Interstate (you will see the Interstate interchange before you pass the traffic light). Turn left and you will see the Days Inn on your right.
  Though the Inn is very economical, it seems to have the cleanest rooms (and best smelling – meaning no heavy spray perfume odors, etc.) we have encountered in the area. It is owned and operated (under a franchise) by a family that, obviously, cares about its guests.
  To reach the Inn from I-40, take exit 81 and follow AR-7 one block to the traffic light. Turn right and the Inn is on your right.
